Hi all,
Just wanted to let you all know that John has had both hips replaced...it was a very long night for me and I just found out about 4am...He came through well however the doctor said he will require alot of physical therapy because the mucsles were very weak in that area..
John seemed to be in really good spirits just before he went into surgery when I spoke to him.
I know he was apprehensive but that is normal for anyone..I will not be able to speak to him until tomorrow because he is in ICU at the moment but so far everything looks good.
I Praise God for this but would ask everyone to continue to pray for a solid recovery.
John said he felt like he was in a car accident! I would image so!!
I won't know much else till I speak to his assistant Prabah again later today.
Well I am going to go and take a much needed nap! I will keep posting as I get info
Thanks to all of you for you thoughts and prayers for the big guy at this time it means so much.

Such wonderful news, Monica! I imagine it was a very long nap for you! I too woke up several times with you and John on my mind and in my prayers! Hang in there!
Good update! Yay for John & his Doctors! Hope you can get some good rest - you're all still in our prayers.

Hi Monica! I am thrilled to hear that John had both hips done. It is like being in a car accident (from one who just went through myself) and as such he needs to be good to himself. What incision did they use? Let him know that I am thinking of him and sending him light and love. I am here for you as well, especially if you just need to vent or have questions.
